New Notary Public Applicant Requirements:

  • Must be a Legal Florida Resident

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must complete a 3-hour Notary Education Course for all FIRST time applicants. (See below or click here)

  • Must Complete All Fields (except Mailing Address fields)

General Notes:

New Application Checklist

  1. Sign Notary Public Commission Application Oath of Office. Please sign your name, as you want your name to appear on your commission.

  2. Have someone you have known for at least one year and who is not related to you, complete the Affidavit of Character.

  3. Sign your name by the “X” on the Bond of Notary Public as you signed your Oath of Office.

  4. Mail the completed forms and a check in the amount of $95.00 (includes tax) made payable to:
